UIP Employee Raymond Roberts Sets an Example for Excellent Customer Service

Raymond Roberts, Utility and Industrial Products (UIP) Truck Driver, was recently commended for his customer service and positive attitude by Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC), a customer of Koppers.

The team at LCEC recently found a safety hazard in the pole racks at Raymond’s drop off point for the day and knew they could count on Raymond to help mitigate the hazard. Although this was not part of Raymond’s original schedule for the day, he arrived ready and willing to lend a hand.

“I can’t express to you enough how much we have enjoyed working with Raymond through the years,” said Shane Zubaty from LCEC. “He has proven to be an extremely valuable resource during our emergency restoration efforts as well as our daily operations.”

Raymond not only exemplifies great service but also has a Zero Harm mindset, which he displayed by being a finalist in Koppers Truck Driving Championship in 2022! 🚚
