Two Koppers Female Leaders Earn Recognition

Leslie Hyde, Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, and Quynh McGuire, Vice President of Investor Relations were both recently recognized for their significant career achievements.
Leslie Hyde Receives Women of Influence Award
Earlier this month Leslie Hyde, Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, was honored with Pittsburgh Business Times Women of Influence award. This award honors the region’s most influential businesswomen who are making a difference in their communities.
Leslie has been with Koppers since 1999 and has always been passionate about protecting and preserving the environment. Leslie champions Koppers Sustainability efforts, rooted in People, Planet and Performance, and empowers team members at all levels of the organization to get involved.

Quynh McGuire Receives Women of Distinction Award
Every year, Girl Scouts of Western PA honor exceptional women in their respective fields who serve as role models to all Girl Scouts. Quynh McGuire, Vice President Investor Relations was recognized this year for her leadership and accomplishments with the 2024 Women of Distinction Finance Award.
Throughout her career, Quynh has believed in the power of giving women and girls the tools to succeed with courage, confidence and character to make the world a better place. Quynh’s advice to young women at the awards ceremony was, “Always prioritize the importance of financial independence. This is a critical skill that will stay with you for the rest of your life.” 💲
