Stepping Up for a Stronger Future at March for Babies
April 23, 2026
Koppers employees in Pittsburgh were proud to support the annual March for Babies Walk, a community fundraising event hosted by March of Dimes.
March of Dimes is a nonprofit focused on preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality through research, education, and family support programs. The organization’s March for Babies Walk is a nationwide event that raises awareness and critical funds for this work.
During this year’s walk, Koppers employees, families, and friends came together to participate and enjoy a morning of activities and community connection. In the weeks leading up to the event, team members participated in a variety of engagement efforts, including a kickoff lunch-and-learn, raffles, coin wars between floors, and a March Madness bracket challenge.
Thanks to the generosity and involvement of employees, more than $12,000 was raised in support of March of Dimes!
Special thanks to the Koppers March for Babies committee, Jim Hogan (Senior Global Director, Financial Planning and Analysis), Ashley Coup (Manager, Global Corporate Innovation), Stephanie Folkmire (Chemical Process Engineer), Josh Haft (Assistant General Counsel and Director of Compliance), Nick Matty (Controller), Cliff Schademan (Operations Manager), and Andrew Tillapaugh (General Counsel and Assistant Secretary), for organizing and supporting this year’s efforts.
