As modern masters of global infrastructure and seasoned industry advisors, our commitment to people, planet, and performance is the foundation for all we put forth.
We are what the world is made of—we use renewable and repurposed raw materials to protect and extend the life of global infrastructure, for a more sustainable world.
Our services support critical infrastructure industries around the world. As trusted advisors with decades of proven success, we've seen it all, done it all, and are ready for whatever comes next.
Protecting what matters while preserving the future—guided by this purpose, the Koppers sustainability strategy focuses on three key pillars of people, planet, and performance.
Koppers facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina, recently partnered with two local organizations to give back to those in need.
For Teacher Appreciation Day, Carlita Browning (Shift Lead), Joel Cheek (Process Safety Coordinator), Danny Curlin (Plant Manager), Calvin Crawford (Material Handler), and Eria Young (Supply Chain Manager) visited Sunset Park Center for Accelerated Studies. The team donated snacks and drinks to show appreciation for the hard work of teachers and staff. 🍎
At the Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen, Joel Cheek, Danny Curlin, Brian DenOuden (Zero Harm Coordinator), Te’Lasha Feaster (Accounting & Administrative Manager), Oliver Lierz (Facility Engineer), and Eria Young volunteered to serve 140 hot lunches to community members in need. 🍱
These efforts reflect the Rock Hill team’s dedication to supporting the local community. Thank you to everyone involved for your continued commitment to making a positive impact!
