Taking A Chance
Employees supported the nonprofit First Chance at their Trivia Night fundraiser, with a gift voucher for a two-night winery getaway. đˇ
First Chance is a nonprofit that provides early intervention and school-aged programs for children with a disability or developmental delays. The organization has been offering support for children and their families for more than 40 years.
The event was a winner with more than $11,000 raised in total!
Tea-rrific Fundraiser
The Mayfield office started the day off right by holding a Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser. â
Australiaâs Biggest Morning Tea raises funds that go towards those affected by cancer. Employees added their own delicious twist by adding a bake-off to see who is the ultimate cake baker at the office!
Libby OâBrien, Plant Engineer, was crowned the best baker with David Scott, Process Safety & Environmental Management Engineer, coming in at a close second. The event was absolu-tea-ly successful with more than $650 raised!
Preserving the Earth
Taking care of the earth doesnât take a day off! For this yearâs Preserving the Earth campaign, employees planted trees at Mayfield West Public Schoolâs orchard. đł
They planted four lemon trees, two lime trees and one mandarin tree. The remaining funds were used to purchase a picnic table for all to enjoy the orchard! This is a prime example of employees and members of the community working in harmony. To celebrate all their hard work, volunteers celebrated with a delicious BBQ lunch.
