LINKwomen Hosts International Women’s Day Events

In celebration of International Women’s Day, LINKwomen partnered with Women in Chemicals to host a celebratory gathering and watch party in Pittsburgh, PA, and Peachtree City, GA.
The event brought together women and men from Koppers and other local organizations for professional development, networking, and industry insights. Attendees gathered to view the Women in Chemicals virtual program, which highlighted key findings from the McKinsey & LeanIn.Org Women in the Workplace report. As the leading study on women in corporate America, the report explores employee experiences, representation, and opportunities for growth.
The presentation also included a panel with four remarkable female leaders in the chemical industry. Thoughtful discussions followed, allowing participants to reflect on takeaways and share perspectives.
Additionally, Rock Hill, SC, staff took female team members to lunch or dinner to celebrate International Women’s Day, based on their work shift. 💐
