Koppers Board and Leadership Council Visit Vidalia, Georgia

As part of the Q3 Board of Directors meeting, Board Members and Koppers Leadership Council visited the Vidalia, Georgia, Utility & Industrial Products facility. 

The group started the day by enjoying lunch with the entire Vidalia team. Next, Plant Manager Brad Singleton, shared a presentation to provide an update on the plant's operations, recent capital investments and Zero Harm progress. Then it was time for a tour of the facility to see how wood utility poles come to life -- from bark peeling, to modifying to customer specifications, to treating with Koppers wood preservation technology.

The group enjoyed a beautiful day in the southern sun with exceptional hospitality from UIP VP Jim Healey, Plant Manager Brad Singleton, and the entire Vidalia team!
