Koppers Ashcroft Celebrates Their Zero Harm President's Award Win!
July 28, 2023
Koppers was proud to present the 2022 Zero Harm President’s Award to the Ashcroft Plant in British Columbia, Canada in recognition of its best-in-company performance as measured in safety, environmental responsibility, and innovation!
According to Ashcroft’s Plant Manager, Patrick Sullivan, Zero Harm means two things: 1) Striving for personal safety at the job site, hoping that will carry over to employees’ personal lives. 2) Responsible care for the environment; do no harm.
Upon their win, the Ashcroft plant held a BBQ to celebrate with the Zero Harm group and donated their $5,000 prize money to the Elizabeth Fry Society for the Ashcroft Food Bank, which helps support surrounding communities.
Congratulations also go out to our finalists in Domino/Queen City, Texas; Koppers Railroad Structures; Guthrie, Kentucky; and Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, who received prize money to donate to a charity of their choice.
Great job to all our finalists and everyone on the Ashcroft team for setting the Zero Harm standard high and inspiring others to follow your lead! 👏
