Koppers Achieves Silver Medal in Global Sustainability Rating

We are proud to share that Koppers EcoVadis Sustainability Rating has moved from Bronze to Silver, placing us in the top 15% of peer companies worldwide! 

EcoVadis is a platform that provides standardized sustainability assessments, awarding medals based on how a company performs compared with thousands of global peers. The sustainability rating is a comprehensive assessment in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Silver medal recognizes both strong performance and meaningful progress, setting the stage for continued growth.

Several initiatives contributed to this improvement, including an updated greenhouse gas reduction goal, a refreshed sustainability strategy, greater transparency around internal policies and metrics, and collaboration with EcoVadis on a Supplier Sustainability Assessment Program.

Participating in the EcoVadis assessment each year gives us a valuable benchmark, helping identify opportunities for improvement, track progress over time, and strengthen transparency across our sustainability practices.
