As modern masters of global infrastructure and seasoned industry advisors, our commitment to people, planet, and performance is the foundation for all we put forth.
We are what the world is made of—we use renewable and repurposed raw materials to protect and extend the life of global infrastructure, for a more sustainable world.
Our services support critical infrastructure industries around the world. As trusted advisors with decades of proven success, we've seen it all, done it all, and are ready for whatever comes next.
Protecting what matters while preserving the future—guided by this purpose, the Koppers sustainability strategy focuses on three key pillars of people, planet, and performance.
Koppers team in Hubbell, Michigan, came together for the third year to show support for the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) Veterans Honor Flight.
This organization flies veterans and an accompanying guardian to Washington, D.C., for a busy day that includes visiting the monuments representing America's wars and branches of service.
This year, some of the veterans invited on the trip didn’t have family or friends who were able to serve as their guardian on the flight. In a show of support, Koppers sponsored the fee and our employees Steve Linder, Plant Operator, and Jesse Solberg, SH&E Coordinator, volunteered to be flight guardians for the trip. Hubbell had four local veterans attend the trip.
To top things off in style, the Hubbell team chartered a motorcoach for employees, family members, and members of the community (including the Calumet High School Junior ROTC) to take part in the welcome home festivities as the veterans got off the plane at the Escanaba Airport.
What an incredible way to support your local heroes! Way to go, Hubbell.
