As modern masters of global infrastructure and seasoned industry advisors, our commitment to people, planet, and performance is the foundation for all we put forth.
We are what the world is made of—we use renewable and repurposed raw materials to protect and extend the life of global infrastructure, for a more sustainable world.
Our services support critical infrastructure industries around the world. As trusted advisors with decades of proven success, we've seen it all, done it all, and are ready for whatever comes next.
Protecting what matters while preserving the future—guided by this purpose, the Koppers sustainability strategy focuses on three key pillars of people, planet, and performance.
Earlier this month, a group of Koppers female employees attended the Women in Chemicals Conference in Houston, Texas. 🧪👩🔬
Women in Chemicals is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the chemical industry and creating a community to collaborate, connect and continue blasting through the glass ceiling. 🌟
The conference included networking opportunities, sessions around various topics like work-life balance, industry insights and so much more!
Koppers had a special representation at the conference with a special session from Camille Goleb, Program Manager, Inclusion & Diversity (I&D). Camille focused on the topic: “Why and How of I&D: How to fight for I&D at your company and what can you do as an individual.” In her session, Camille spoke about the importance of I&D in employee experiences and the challenges faced by many.
Additionally, Stacey McKinney, Vice President Technical Services, was honored as one of four finalists for the organization’s Woman of the Year for her incredible contributions in the field of chemicals!
Koppers is lucky to have such talented women in the chemical industry, making a positive difference every day!
