A Grand Slam of a Donation

🎵For it’s one, two, three strikes you’re out! 🎵 But, when a strikeout = a donation to the community, strikeouts are a home run!

For every strikeout by a Pirates pitcher during the 2024 season, Koppers made a $50 donation to a local charity that helps better the lives of people in the Pittsburgh community every day.

This season, a total of $67,800 was raised, benefiting the Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh, March of Dimes, Junior Achievement of Western PA, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Breakthrough T1D Western & Central PA (formerly JDRF).
