About Us
Koppers Florence facility is a 210-acre site that has been an active wood treating and preserving plant since 1946. The Florence facility produces crossties, switch ties, bridge material, preplated crossties as well as kiln drying for utility poles and piling. The crosstie treatment includes P-2 creosote and the newest addition, borate dual treatment.
