Warranties Koppers makes available several built-up roofing warranties under its Built-Up Roofing Warranty Program. Koppers built-up roof warranties provide for repair of water leaks for a specified period, subject to certain limitations and restrictions. Types of built-up roofing warranties are set forth on the Built-Up Roofing Warranty Type and Term Chart. Other information about Koppers built-up roofing warranties includes the following: Warranties are not available for residential roofing; Warranties are only available within the continental United States; Approved flashings may be warranted for terms up to, but not exceeding, the term for which the roof is warranted. Built-up roofing systems to be warranted for more than 10 years require the use of Koppers Flashing Systems Specification Numbers 176, 180 or 182. Charges for built-up roofing warranties are made on a per square basis, including flashings; Insulation type, thickness, attachment and number of layers will affect warranty type and term; All metal counterflashing, coping and drain strainers must be installed prior to final inspection. Waterproofing and dampproofing are not covered by Koppers warranties.
