Leslie S. Hyde
Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Risk Management
Leslie S. Hyde is Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Risk Management at Koppers, elected to her post in November 2017. She is responsible for leading the company’s strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, enterprise risk management, and product stewardship functions.
Ms. Hyde joined Koppers in 1999 as the Manager of Environmental Affairs and continued to progress into various leadership roles. Most recently, Ms. Hyde served as Vice President, Risk Management and Deputy General Counsel from January 2016 to October 2017 and Vice President, Safety and Environmental Affairs from January 2005 to December 2015.
Prior to joining Koppers, Ms. Hyde was a facility manager for a regional chemical manufacturing company, a consulting engineer, and served 10 years on active duty with the United States Army.
Ms. Hyde earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy, a master’s degree in business administration from Golden Gate University, and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University.
