National Safety Council
Honors 12 Koppers Plants
Aug. 25, 1998, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — The
National Safety Council has recognized 12 Koppers' facilities for
their outstanding safety records with either the prestigious 1997
President's Citation or Award of Commendation for accumulating
significant number of employee hours without a lost workday case
for a period of at least one year.

- Woodward carbon materials plant, Dolomite,
