Koppers supplies utility companies with quality Distribution Poles
that are shipped from four different plants and over ten distribution
yards strategically located throughout the United States.
Our Distribution Poles are made primarily from Southern Yellow
Pine and are treated to American Wood Preservers Association (AWPA)
Standards and customer specifications with preservatives including
Creosote, Pentachlorophenol and Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA).
Poles properly treated to American Wood Preservers Association
(AWPA) and customer specifications provide long service life,
even in the most severe conditions. Throughout the years, Koppers
has set the standard for quality and reliability with programs
that measure and ensure quality from timber harvesting through
delivery of the finished product. Inventories are maintained
at our treating plants and
distribution yards to provide prompt deliveries to utility storerooms
or jobsites.
