Reflective Roof Coatings

Overview
Koppers asphalt base aluminum coatings form a reflective metallic roof coating that protects the substrate from the elements. They are non-asbestos fibrated coatings.

Features
Koppers asphalt base aluminum coatings contain pure aluminum paste consisting of millions of tiny pigment flakes. When the coating is applied, these flakes rise to the surface and form themselves into many shingle-like layers of aluminum. The result is a reflective metallic surface that protects the substrate from the elements. There are several varieties:

Aluminum Coating 434 is a premium grade reflective coating containing an extra quantity of fine quality aluminum pigments in a non-fibrated asphalt base. It provides a tough long lasting surface.

Aluminum Coating 435 contains the same high quality ingredients as Aluminum Coating 434 but with non-asbestos fibers added to the base. This provides a thicker, tougher surface and longer life.

Aluminum Coating 444 is a commercial grade reflective coating containing high quality aluminum pigments in a non-fibrated asphalt base.

Aluminum Coating 445 contains the same high quality ingredients as Aluminum Coating 444 in a non-asbestos fibrated asphalt base to provide a tough long lasting surface.

Benefits
With Koppers aluminum coatings, there is no peeling or separating because the asphalt base securely bonds the aluminum to the protected surface.

The reflective metallic surface protects the substrate from the elements. The roof coatings provide an added measure of protection and a tough, long-lasting surface to the roof system.

Alum. Roof Coating 435	Premium grade asphalt reflective coating. Fiber reinforced.
Alum. Roof Coating 444	Commercial grade asphalt reflective coating. Non-fibrated.
Alum. Roof Coating 445	Commercial grade reflective asphalt coating, fiber reinforced.
Alum. Roof Coating 125	Economy grade asphalt reflective coating, fiber reinforced.
