to provide exceptional penetration and bonding to the surface
on which it is applied. Koppers offers 2 types of primer, High-Pen
Primer 452 and Coal Tar Primer.
High-Pen Primer 452 is a blend
of refined asphalt and solvent with additives to provide exceptional
penetration and bonding to the surface on which it is applied.
Coal Tar Primer is a blend of
refined tars and solvents designed to penetrate porous surfaces
and promote adhesion of subsequent coal tar products.
