On the water, on the rails, or on the highway, Koppers has the transportation network in place to provide the most effective deliveries based upon our customers’ needs.

Koppers recognizes that total and efficient logistics management is a necessity to complete the vision for long term success for our customers and Koppers. For this reason Koppers has and will continue to form strong partnerships with suppliers and logistics providers who share the vision.

Koppers operates a fleet of over 900 railcars to provide transportation of raw materials to our production facilities and to provide delivery of products to our customers. We have partnered with several motor carriers that meet our high standards for financial responsibility, adequate insurance coverage and personnel training to ensure responsible handling of our heavily regulated products.

Koppers has positioned itself to offer a full range of shipping options permitting worldwide sourcing of raw materials and delivery of finished products from multiple sources assuring reliable and dependable supply and service to all customers globally. Koppers has enhanced its distribution channels by establishing bulk liquid pitch terminals at selected sites within Australia, Denmark, Poland, United Kingdom, United States and China.
