Uithoorn

The tar distillation plant in Uithoorn, Netherlands has an annual capacity of 140,000 tons of crude tar is equipped with all modern facilities enabling production of high quality pitch and tar oils to customer specifications. In 1992 the naphthalene plant was expanded to produce both technical and refined grades. In addition there is a bulk liquids terminal in Amsterdam with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes. The company was acquired in March, 2010 from Cindu B.V and Corus Staal, B.V. with experience in the tar business dating back to 1923.
